Family

We have 3-year-old daughter. She’s found her personality - quiet but curious, introverted but fun-loving, and generally quite eager to travel! She loves airplanes, fish, and her favorite stuffed bear. She’s weirdly fond of adult food: scallops, truffle, and focaccia are her current favourites.

Playing around with AI

After just observing the trend over the past 2 years, the improvement in foundation models has blown me away. With the addition of this paradigm of “AI Agents” (which I understand as LLMs that have the ability to call functions), I think there are some great things that we can build with this.

My first task is to set up a test harness where I can test combinations of model providers, models, system prompts, inputs, and tools to see what problems I can solve with them, and how to construct the right evaluations to ensure correctness.

I’ve now been working at Titanium Birch for a year. Titanium Birch is an investment started by a tech entrepreneur, and we’re on a mission to route capital to productive people.

I’m really enjoying the variety of work, from dealing with compliance to understanding how to account for investment transactions, to diving deep into companies.
