It's a book about developing a data practice in the context of emerging markets, drawing particularly from my experience developing data teams across [[Southeast Asia]]. ## Data Platform at ExpressVPN I work in [[Data Engineering]] for [[ExpressVPN]], building a privacy-focused data platform for millions of VPN users across the globe. I'm learning about the importance of understanding exactly how data flows across a system and adopting a security mindset to our data systems. ## Family We're just starting our new family - my wife and I are raising our baby girl. We're focused on teach her how to eat, how to play, how to understand her world, and how ot understand music and dance.
